About the Program

The Formational Leadership (FL) program called "Leading" is a 20-session program that is intended to help participants understand the principles of Formational Leadership and practice the skills needed to be a formational leader. Formational Leadership differs from other leadership programs in that it emphasizes the formational nature of good leadership and therefore builds upon an understanding of formation, as well as Healing Care Ministries modalities and protocols.

Program Format

FL is a group-based program that is conducted in 20 sessions by a group leader either in-person or virtually with his/her group. The ideal group is 4 to 8 participants, including the leader. The leader need not be trained in advance of the program. All that is required of the leader is to be able to facilitate group discussions. Sessions can be held as frequently as weekly, or as infrequently as bi-weekly, resulting in a program that continues for between 20 and 40 weeks. Each session will vary in length from 1-2 hours.
