HOPE MIGHT FEEL IMPOSSIBLE RIGHT NOW
Loss can feel more difficult than we ever expected. And, too often we don't know where to start on the journey toward healing, even as Christians. Whether you are experiencing the pain of death, divorce, broken relationships, or another form of grief, it can be difficult to know how to move forward. Often the answers we're given in the church or the counseling office leave us feeling confused and alone.

Will I ever move on?

Where is God in my pain?

Will I always feel this way?

We created this event, Navigating Grief & Loss, to help you move into the pain of loss. Our host Dr. Sharon Siler holds an advanced degree in Thanatology, the study of death and dying. Her life's work is to help people engage in their own grieving process.
WHEN WE AVOID OUR PAIN, IT CAN LEAD TO GREATER SUFFERING
This past year brought new and unexpected losses to many. Loss is an unavoidable part of life but if left ungrieved, our losses can leave us feeling lonely and trapped in our own pain. We can experience increased anxiety, depression, and even physical maladies when we stop in our grieving process.

But, how do we grieve in the midst of lives that never stop?

How do we grieve our losses when we are surrounded by the losses of others?

Too often we hide from our pain with a cocktail of distractions. But with help, we can learn to face our pain, grieve our losses, and move into a healthier emotional place.

We would be honored to join you on this journey.
