WHAT IS A RETREAT LIKE?
At our emotional healing retreats in Columbus, you can expect teaching, Spirit-led ministry time and worship, and tools to equip you on your healing journey. We set aside time for small group interactions, as well as experiential activities designed to lead you deeper on your journey toward freedom and emotional healing.
WHO WILL LEAD MY RETREAT?
Every Healing Care Ministries event is unique. You can expect all of our seminars and retreats to be led by certified, highly-trained caregivers. We believe we can't lead others to places we haven't gone ourselves, so each of our retreat leaders has experienced personal healing from emotional wounds and are now leading others on the journey.
WHICH SEMINAR IS RIGHT FOR ME?
We offer a variety of events from two-day retreats to year-long experiences. With so many options, it can be difficult to decide which event is right for you. Two factors to consider are the length of time you want to spend at a retreat and which event description speaks to you. Whether you choose a weekend retreat or a one-year program, all of our events are designed to help you encounter Christ and position you for emotional healing.

WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE PRICE OF A RETREAT?
The cost of your retreat will include teaching, ministry times, group worship, hands-on training, and a book filled with practical, actionable content to take home with you. Come expecting a welcoming community of fellow believers who are on a journey toward greater healing and deeper intimacy with Jesus. Lodging, transportation, and meals are not included.

MEET OUR FOUNDER
Terry Wardle is a retired professor of Practical Theology from Ashland Theological Seminary. Terry earned a Doctorate of Ministry from Fuller Theological Seminary and is President of Healing Care Ministries. He conducts frequent seminars on emotional healing and leadership renewal and has authored numerous books including Some Kind of Crazy (2019), Identity Matters (2017), Wounded (2005), and many others. Terry is the podcaster of Slingstones.
