WHAT ARE YOUR STAFF TEAM'S CREDENTIALS?
HOW IS HEALING CARE DIFFERENT FROM OTHER COUNSELING TRAINING?
There are three factors that set Healing Care Ministries seminars apart from traditional counseling training events. The first is our emphasis on the caregiver. We believe we can't take wounded people to places of healing and freedom if we haven't first gone their ourselves. All of our events emphasize the spiritual formation and ongoing healing of the caregiver. Our seminars are also unique in that we incorporate demonstrations and experiential activities. We have found in-person demonstrations to be one of the best ways to introduce and teach our recommended modalities. The third difference between Healing Care Ministries and traditional counseling training is our emphasis on the Holy Spirit. We take special care to discern the movement of the Holy Spirit before each event and realign ourselves with any new thing God wants to do among us.

The cost of your counseling training seminar will include practical, in-depth teaching designed to equip you with practical skills for caregiving. As part of each seminar, we incorporate hands-on training, demonstrations, ministry times, group worship, and a binder filled with practical, actionable content to take home with you. Come expecting a welcoming community of caregivers and believers who are on a journey toward greater healing and deeper intimacy with Jesus. Lodging, transportation, and meals are not included.

MEET YOUR HOST
Terry Wardle is a retired professor of Practical Theology from Ashland Theological Seminary. As President of Healing Care Ministries, Terry conducts frequent seminars on emotional healing and leadership renewal for counselors, pastors, therapists, and other Christian caregivers. Terry has authored numerous books including Some Kind of Crazy (2019), Identity Matters (2017), and Wounded (2005). He is also the podcaster of Slingstones.
