Dr. Benjamin Franklin Jr. has served as a full time senior pastor in the Greater Cleveland area for over 30 years. He earned a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology and Biology from Cleveland State University. Reverend Franklin also holds both a Master's degree in Pastoral Counseling and a Doctorate degree in Formational Counseling from Ashland Theological Seminary. He loves animals; he has owned a cat, a dog, a parakeet, two turtles, a hamster, and various fish.
Discovering the principles of Formational Prayer and Inner Healing radically revolutionized my model of ministry and my concept of Christianity. My healing journey has been rewarding and extremely challenging. However, it is helping me to experience ever increasing levels of intimacy with God, a keener sense of the Holy Spirit, and a deeper love for Christ.
Lynne is the Assistant Director of Healing Care (HC), serves on the advisory board for the Certificate in Formational Prayer program, and is the Treasurer of HCM International. She coordinates the Formational Prayer Seminars, Advanced Formational Prayer Seminars, and other HC initiatives. She also manages the budgets, oversees the general finances, and handles the sale and distribution of HC materials. In addition to her leadership gifts, Lynne is an anointed intercessor with the gift of spiritual discernment.
Ten years ago, Dr. Wardle asked if I would transition from the Ashland Theological Leadership Center to begin a new initiative involving Formational Prayer. At that time, I knew very little about Formational Prayer. As I prayed for direction, I clearly heard God say, “This is My heart.” That was all it took for me to say, “yes.” It has been such a privilege to watch this incredible work of God. I have witnessed so many lives changed and transformed. I would describe Formational Prayer as a ministry of the Holy Spirit that not only stands on the front lines, but also crosses over into enemy territory to reclaim what belongs to God.

In my nearly 30 years in ministry, I have experienced both the blessings and the brokenness of Christian ministry, and out of that brokenness, today I simply desire to help position others before Jesus, that He might capture their hearts afresh and move them toward wholeness.

She has used her schooling as she homeschooled her children for 14 years. She has also earned her Certificate in Formational Prayer and participated in the HCM International Internship Program. She has been serving in the Healing Care ministry at her church both on the administrative team and also as a group leader. She enjoys long walks outdoors, kayaking and cooking.
Participating in a Healing Care Group was truly a life-changing experience for me. The Lord revealed lies to me that I was believing and living my life from and met me in my deepest wounds to speak His truth and love to me. When these old lies emerge, I now have His truth to live from. I am grateful. I felt led by Jesus to become a Healing Care group leader and now have the privilege and blessing to watch Jesus bring His truth and healing to others, as well. Watching Jesus reclaim the ground that the enemy has taken is thrilling. May He be praised!
